What does the application process look like?

After registration in our platform, you will choose the type of work and will submit your skills for approval. Once we reach out to you, you will be required to do the evaluation test and trial job based on Vidby guidelines. You will have 48 hours to take the test. If you pass, we will let you know within a week, so you can start working right after that.

How much will I get paid on average?

A typical Vidby freelancer earns around 400 $ per month, whereas our most active freelancers earn up to 2,000 $+ per month. This depends on the job and language you choose, the availability of jobs, and the amount of time you can dedicate to Vidby.

Are the working hours flexible?

Yes, you can work whenever suits you best, as long as the assignment is submitted before the deadline.

Can I work from anywhere?

Yes! That is a 100% remote freelance position. All you need is your laptop and a stable internet connection.

Am I required to speak English to work as a freelancer?

All the internal communication is carried out in English when joining our community. This includes our guidelines and day-to-day communication. For the above-mentioned reasons, we require all freelancers to have at least an Upper-Intermediate level of English when joining our community. For the translators - a proficient level of English is obligatory.
